Two workshops for Spring 2016

cynthia9 April 2016 --Saturday

Finding Your Balance

"Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?" - Mary Oliver

We were all born with a dreamseed of a remarkable life, with the promise of both purpose and pleasure. Few of us were encouraged to follow our hearts, to plant that seed. Instead, we were taught to say YES to others and NO to ourselves in order to fit in, to stay small.
We could do no less when children.

But... if this lesson is left unchallenged, we end up living in the wrong dream, feeling stuck and ambivalent, and always coloring inside the lines. This is the source of cycles of resentment in our relationships, numbing addictions, and following the wrong models. The independence that comes with age and experience marks the time to take the risks that bring life into balance.

The goals of this workshop are to increase self-confidence and improve relationships. By combining recent discoveries in how the mind really works with practical tools, we can awaken the best and bravest parts of who we truly are.

TRUST WORKSHOPS IN 2016

The Courage to TrustFINDING THE COURAGE TO TRUST

Trust is more than a feeling, it is also a choice to be made, and a skill you can learn. Adult trust requires a level of understanding no one can learn as a child.

The following three workshops are best taken sequentially: first increase self-trust, then grow your wings with confidence in a positive future, and then in your relationships with others. Explore if you could benefit by this workshop by taking a Trust Quiz or two.

1. Learning to Love & Trust Yourself in Early Summer 2007

We all have times when we feel lack of confidence. Do you know what to do when you have an attack of self-doubt?
Are you stuck in painful relationships, jobs, or roles because you don't trust yourself to handle the change? Learn to unhook from past betrayals or mistakes that limit your self-love and confidence.

2.  Developing Faith in a Positive Future to be scheduled

Learn to envision a compelling future, and discover what is holding you back from reaching for your dreams.

Are you living in a contracted circle of fears and old habits? Find the exit strategy that will work for you. You'll leave with a map and timeline to a life worth committing to.

3. Learning to Trust Others More Wisely to be scheduled

Learn new and improved relationship skills. Feel like an adult as you engage with mutual respect and trust, and know when to let go.
You are not stuck, regardless of statements of commitment. Shift your focus from complaining to asking for what you want. Find out how to assess your relationships, including job, family, and friends as well as intimate connections. Then you can open to being more loving and available to mutual honesty.
